Background:
Prior to joining Pratt Caldwell Legal Group, PLLC, Matt served as an Assistant District Attorney General for over fifteen years in the 5th and 10th Judicial Districts of the State of Tennessee. As a prosecutor, Matt tried numerous jury and bench trials to verdict, including 1st and 2nd Degree Murder, Rape, Kidnapping and DUI. Matt seeks to bring his experience as a prosecutor to bear in helping his clients navigate the often confusing and frightening experience of facing criminal charges.

In addition to his extensive experience in criminal law, Matt practices in the fields of traffic offenses, civil litigation and wills and estates.

Matt resides in Bradley County with his wife Amy and their three children where they are deeply involved in their local church and community. In their free time they enjoy hiking, camping, and cheering on their Tennessee Vols.
